Sex ratio of life births in Hong Kong 2000-2023

In 2023, in total, 17,439 male and 15,849 female children were born in Hong Kong, which translated into a gender ratio of around 110 boys to 100 girls. The gender ratio has not changed significantly over the last two decades.
