We previously found that Halomonas salifodinae IM328 could produce hydroxyectoine only under high salt conditions. To find the limiting factors of hydroxyectoine low-salt production, we performed comparative transcriptomic analysis for IM328 under different salt concentrations. RNA-seq of IM328 grown under high salinity(3 M) and low salinity(0.2 M) was then performed.
