This study has developed a Polyvinyl acetate-coated Quartz crystal microbalance sensor using the spin coating technique and a tungsten oxide-coated Quartz crystal microbalance using sputtering. The fabricated sensor was exposed to vapors from the nebulizer to study the variation in resonance frequency. <br> 1)The sensor showed random changes in resonance frequency in absence of target gases. 2) The fabricated sensor showed identifiable frequency response in presence of toluene and xylene vapours 3) XRD data 4) FESEM DATA 5) OPTICAL PROFILOMETRY RESULTS <br> The attached excel files include records of fabricated sensor output on exposure to xylene and toluene vapours. <br> <br>
