On September 23, 2022, Hurricane Fiona made landfall and passed over eastern Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and the Magdalen Islands (QC) the next day September 24th . Heavy rain was falling, so surface flooding and coastal erosion are expected on the maps. The main problem is the expected damage to infrastructure, caused by surface flooding, road collapses, downed power lines and heavy forest damage.
