资源简介:
LTER - Long-Term Ecological Research Program/H.J. Andrews Forest (AND) LTER/AND018 [Summary adapted from the LTER Core Data Set Catalog]: The National Atmospheric Deposition Program (NADP) wet/dry sampler is located in a cleared area at the Andrews Forest Headquarter Site at 425 m elevation. Precipitation samples are collected every Tuesday morning. pH and conductivity are measured at the site, and the samples mailed to a Central Chemical Laboratory at the University of Illinois. Samples are analyzed for Ca, Mg, K, Na, NH4, NO3, SO4, PO4, pH, and conductivity. The dry precipitation bucket is collected the first Tuesday of every even month and mailed to the University of Illinois for the same analyses. For more information about the National Atmospheric Deposition Program (NADP) see: "http://nadp.sws.uiuc.edu/" The Andrews Forest is in the western Cascade Range of Oregon in the 15,800-acre drainage basin of the Lookout Creek, a tributary of Blue River and the McKenzie River. The area elevation ranges from 1350 feet to 5340 feet and contains excellent examples of Pacific Northwest conifer forests, wildlife, and ecosystems.
