RNA sequencing of Dictyostelium discoideum strain QS9

In this study, we hypothesized that copper would inhibit the fitness of social amoeba D. discoideum and amoeba would form a tighter relationships with its symbionts to avoid environmental threats under copper stress. Different symbiont types and evolutionary time may influence the response mechanisms of symbiotic relationships to copper stress.
