Engagement with research is essential in the training of evidence-based clinicians, yet many medical students report limited research exposure, mentorship, and opportunities. Student-led initiatives may help address these gaps, but their educational impact remains underexplored. A single-centre pre-post study was conducted at a UK medical school in October 2024. Medical students completed anonymous paired questionnaires immediately before and after the one-day workshop. Items assessed research perspectives, attitudes, comprehension, perceived barriers, and facilitators. Pre-post changes in Likert-scale responses were analysed using the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test.
