This is a curated repository that compiles an extensive array of seed traits for plant species in China -- Chinese Seed Trait Database ( CSTD ). It has been assembled from >550 published references, comprises nearly 100,000 records across >100 seed traits for >3600 plant species. The data spans all major axes of the seed trait spectrum, encompassing morphological, quantitative, phenological, physiological, chemical, and dispersal traits.
