Sanger sequencing chromatograms of the partial cytochrome b (cytb) gene from an individual of Sarcocheilichthys vittatus (voucher number: 22070150)

We have reported the first de novo assembly and annotation of the mitogenome of S. vittatus, generated using next-generation sequencing (NGS) technology. To validate the assembled mitogenome, a partial sequence of the cytochrome b (cytb) gene from this S. vittatus individual was generated via Sanger sequencing.
