Enabling Non-Invasive Detection of Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma in Pre Diagnostic High-risk and De-Novo Symptomatic Patients

Here, we present a non-invasive plasma cell-free RNA (cfRNA) evaluation of PDAC in pre-diagnostic high-risk and de novo symptomatic patients presenting for EUS-FNA. We used 153 samples collected from patients before presentation to the EUS procedure (20 PDAC, 16 IPMN, 59 pancreatitis, 48 benign, and 10 other cancer) to develop cfRNA classifiers of PDAC and validated the method on an independent validation set of 95 samples (21 PDAC, 11 IPMN, 23 pancreatitis, 23 benign and 17 other cancer).
