Replication data for: Choice or circumstance? Adjusting measures of foreign policy similarity for chance agreement.

The Stata files contained in this replication archive allow the reproduction of all results presented in the article and the supplementing information. In addition, the archive provides a variety of dyadic similarity measures for all COW state system members over an extended period of time. The measures based on alliance relationships are available from 1816 to 2000, and the measures based on UN voting records from 1946 to 2004.
