Annual yield of pulses in India FY 2014-2024

At the end of fiscal year 2024, the yield of pulses produced in India was over 907 kilograms per hectare. This was an increase from the previous fiscal year. However, to fulfil its requirements in fiscal year 2022, India had to further import pulses worth over 160 billion Indian rupees due to the fall in yield.
