Conducting research in Middle East Studies in the time of the COVID-19 Pandemic

This dataset is made of answers to an anonymous questionnaire sent to Middle Eastern studies scholars between August 19 and October 2, 2020. This questionnaire aimed at better understanding: - how and how much the loss of access to print materials and archives (due to the closure of libraries and archives around the world) and the bans on travel affected researchers - what were the biggest challenges that scholars faced - which solutions they were able to find/implement to address these issues.
