Bilateral Trade Ecuadorian Database

This dataset compiles monthly data on Ecuador’s imports of manufactured goods, classified by technology intensity (low-, medium-, and high-technology industries), disaggregated bilaterally by main trade partners (United States, China, European Union, and Rest of the World) over the period 2000–2023. In addition, it includes indicators of bilateral trade balances, investment flows, employment-related measures, and the real effective exchange rate (REER). The dataset provides a consistent framework to analyze trade dynamics, structural transformation, and external dependence patterns of Ecuador in the global economy.
