Quality-controlled datasets of air temperature and snow height measured with an Automatic Weather Station (AWS) at SIGMA-D site

The meteorological observation in northwestern Greenland was conducted as a part of the "Snow Impurity and Glacial Microbe effects on abrupt warming in the Arctic (SIGMA)" Project supported by Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research, number JP23221004. An automatic weather station (AWS) has been operated at the SIGMA-D site on the Greenland ice sheet during the period from May 2014 to October 2026. This quality-contlolled dataset registered in ADS contains air temperature and snow heisght measured with the AWS, whichwere collected through the ARGOS satellite network in semi-real time.
