Heavy vehicle production in Mexico 2010-2022

In 2022, around 107,650 heavy vehicles were produced in Mexico. This represents a significant decrease of more than 35 percent, in comparison to the previous year. The number of heavy vehicles produced fluctuated over the years, reaching an all-time peak of more than 202,000 in 2019 right before the COVID-19 pandemic hit. The production started booming back in 2021 but took quite a big dip again in 2022.
