Impact of COVID-19 Testing and Mitigation on Equitable Return-to-School in the Second Largest U.S. School District

This project showed how COVID-19 surveillance testing influences secondary infection and school attendance and how it influences disparities in these outcomes associated with student characteristics, including poverty, race and ethnicity. The project studied how surveillance testing influences disparities in parent perceptions of safety, decisions to return in-person, and daily attendance.
