To demostrate the imporrtance of cytoplasmic actin networks in adult cardiomyocytes, we generated cardiomyocyte-specific Actb ad Actg1 double knockout mouse with Cre-loxP system. Western blots confirmed down-regulations of b-aactin and g-actin in the isolated cardiomyocytes. We also carried out bulk RNA-seq using total RNA extrracted from the hearts and assessed transcriptional landscape.
