VPRS 15933 Applications, Section 14 Closer Settlement Act 1925, Beechworth District

This series consists of a small bundle of applications from North-East Victoria for the reappraisement of the capital value of land permitted to lessees under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act in Section 14 Closer Settlement Act 1925. This section provided that if the true value of the land was less than the sum being charged this sum would be altered to reflect that true value.Details on the application are the name of the lessee, the location and extent of the land, the reasons for the lessee's application, details of improvements made and of stock being held on the land.
