资源简介:
In laboratory experiments, different marine species were exposed to different ranges of concentrations from 15 different feedstocks suitable for the application of Ocean Alkalinity Enhancement, a marine carbon dioxide removel (mCDR) technique. The experiments were performed in specialized labs that perform ecotoxicology tests following rigourous procedures. The meta-analyses of the data was performed at GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel. The experiments were perfomed between Autumn 2023 and Summer 2024.The species that were considered for this study are: the marine algae Phaeodactylum tricornutum, the copepod Acartia tonsa, the embryo stage of the oyster Crassostrea gigas, the embryo stage of the sea urchin Paracentrotus lividus, the fish cell line SAF-1 and the threespine stickleback fish Gasterosteus aculeatus.
