The Apple Tree Dataset is a 3D vision dataset dedicated to geometric reconstruction of fruit trees for robotic tree pruning operations. Data was collected from 9 apple trees with distinct structural architectures, including 6 trees in outdoor orchard environments and 3 trees in various indoor locations. The dataset contains five categories of information for individual trees: depth data, color images captured using a Kinect v2 camera, ground-truth images annotated with a regular color camera, the diameter and length of major branches, and the relative distance between a pair of consecutive major branches.
