The increasing prevalence of anthropogenic noise in continental aquatic ecosystems represents a critical environmental problem that impacts the physiology, behavior, and ecological functions of vertebrates. This systematic review analyzes studies from Scopus and Web of Science using scientometric tools in R Studio (Bibliometrix). Documented effects include disrupted communication, intensified stress, reproductive alterations, and impaired development. Species such as the Lusitanian toadfish (Halobatrachus didactylus) and the Yangtze finless porpoise (Neophocaena asiaeorientalis) exhibit reduced survival and habitat displacement. Identifying these knowledge gaps is essential for guiding more effective conservation and management policies.
