Phycospheric and environmental microbes in Neoporphyra haitanensis during the cultivation cycle

In this study, samples of cultivated Neoporphyra haitanensis and surrounding seawater were collected at different harvesting stages. Metagenomic detection technique was employed to identify the composition and functional changes of the phycospheric microbial community on N. haitanensis, while 16S ribosomal RNA (rRNA) sequencing was used to assess bacterial community changes in the surrounding seawater.
