Edaphic effects on forest structure and tree species composition in three seasonally dry tropical forest types in Cambodia

There are datasets of tree census and soil conditions from three adjacent
1-ha plots in deciduous, semi-evergreen, and evergreen forests in
seasonally dry tropical forests (SDTFs). Using these datasets, we
evaluated edaphic effects on forest structure and tree species composition
in Cambodia’s unique lowland forest landscape, where different forest
types coexist under similar climatic conditions. Soil nutrients and water
content were measured at 0–200-cm depth in both the rainy and dry seasons,
alongside soil texture.
