Distributed right-lateral strain at the northern boundary of the Quito-Latacunga microblock: Dataset

Dataset containing OxCal and NASA Ames Stereopipeline codes, tabulate cosmogenic He isotope data, and a high-resolution ortho photomosaic figure for the manuscript entitled: Distributed right-lateral strain at the northern boundary of the Quito-Latacunga microblock that has been submitted to Solid Earth. Code is provided for OxCaL version 4.4.4, used to calibrate and model radiocarbon ages from bulk carbon samples collected near El Angel, Ecuador. This code is a .txt file that can be directly input into OxCal. Detailed locations of the samples are provided in the manuscript that this database accompanies. Code for creating digital terrain models (DTMs) with Pleiades tri-stereo satellite imagery using NASA Ames Stereopipeline is provided. This code is provided as a shell script that is used to call on Stereopipline commands in a Unix command prompt. More details on these methods are provided in the manuscript this dataset accompanies. We also provide as files, the resulting Pleiades DTM of the El Angel area. The GeoSAR 5-m-resolution DTM of southern Colombia, and a shape file showing our moraine crest and glacial channel projections, which were used to estimate fault offsets. We provide tabulated He isotope data used to estimate exposure ages of boulders on lateral moraines in the study area. Detailed methodology on sample collection, preparation, and analyses are provided in the related manuscruipt submitted to Solid Earth. We provide a high-resolution version of Figure 7 in the manuscript, in order to view details in the ortho photomosaic of the Reservoir fault exposure. The mosaic consists of multiple digital photos stitched using Agisoft Metashape.
