Another good copy of the Shâhnâma, with excellent and numerous marginal notes and various readings, which give quite an exceptional value to it. It is divided into <em>two daftars</em>, the second of which begins, on fol. 271<sup>b</sup>, after Bahrâm’s death, with the struggle between Rustam and Kâmûs: بنام خداوند خورشيد و ماه كه دلرا بنامش خرد داد راه comp. No. 860 above, The first daftar was finished A.H. 1053, last of Muḥarram (A.D. 1643, April 20); the second, the 25th of Rabî’-alâkhar in the same year (A.D. 1643, July 13). Bibliotheca Leydeniana.
