ECIN Replication Package for "Impacts of the USDA Broadband Initiatives Program on house prices"

The data referenced in this archive were used to analyze the impacts of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Broadband Initiatives Program (BIP) grants and loans on house prices. The data used include proprietary CoreLogic data on house sales transactions and house characteristics, confidential USDA Rural Utilities Service administrative data on BIP projects and project service areas, and publicly available data on broadband availability from the National Telecommunications and Information Administration State Broadband Initiative/National Broadband Map, on Rural-Urban Commuting Areas from the USDA Economic Research Service, and data on census block areas from the 2010 Census of Population. This data archive includes either raw or processed versions of the publicly available data, but excludes the confidential proprietary and administrative data. All programs used to process and analyze the data are included in this archive. Those programs are either R or Stata code.
