资源简介:
In this study we explored shifts in community-level responses reflected in community-weighted means (CWMs), Rao’s quadratic entropy (Rao’s Q) and beta-diversity for functional traits (specific leaf area, leaf area, leaf dry matter content and height) and chemical properties (features, classes, structural/compositional diversity) in eight plant communities distributed along a sub-Saharan aridity gradient. We also investigated whether community-level responses to aridity were consistent with intraspecific shifts in- and-diversity estimated for functional traits and the metabolome for Artemisia herba-alba.The analyses made in this study were based on the data available here, which includes:The peak list obtained from MZmine ("feature_list.csv")The canopus compound summary obtained from SIRIUS ("canopus_compound_summary.csv")The compound identifications obtained from SIRIUS ("compound_identifications.csv")The meta data ("meta_data.csv")Information on sites ("site_information.csv")Trait data ("trait_data.csv")In addition, the file "description_data.xlsx" and "Description data.docx" includes details on the datasets and scripts. For information on analyses performed, please see Material and Methods in "Aridity drives community-wide shifts towards phytochemical underdispersion".
