Sweep Net Dataset

As a group, we determined a distance of 10 metres for our transect and we repeated the process for 10 times.Therefore, in total we would have walked a total of 100 metres to observe for the different insects and species. One group member was in charge of sweeping the net through the transect of 10 metres and when they got to the end of the transect, the remaining group members looked into the net to determine the different insects and species. We recorded the different insects that were captured and then determined the total number of insects and species that were collected for that respective transect. Since, we conducted the process ten times, we ensured there were ten steps in berween each transect, so that we could capture a variety of species. This proces was conducted ten times.
