Data from the publication "Reducing persecution is more effective for restoring large carnivores than restoring their prey", published in the journal Ecological Applications. (2021): Reducing persecution is more effective for restoring large carnivores than restoring their prey. Data contains the spatial raster layers used to run the Persian leopard metapopulation model. The model parameters are described in Table 2 of the article. cost-surface.txt: Expert-based cost surface describing the permeability of each cell for leopard movement from 1 (most permeable) to 10 (least permeable). habitat-suitability.txt: Persian leopard habitat suitability with values ranging from 0 (least suitable) to 100 (most suitable). potential-breeding-patches.txt: Potential Persian leopard breeding patches labeled from 1 - 74 (0 = no breeding patch).
