This dataset contains data on tree rings, which are seasonal growth increments in tree trunks. The growth of these rings depends on the climate of each season. The data covers variation in the width, density and/or chemical composition of the annual growth rings, which are affected by temperature and rainfall. The data is from tree rings in Tasmania, Western Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia.
