VPRS 3075 Position Establishment Files

These Position Establishment Files were created by the Victorian Government Printing Office (VGPO), personnel branch, to document the history of particular positions established within the VGPO as required by the Public Service Act 1974 (No.8565). Information recorded included when the position was created, changes to salary, reclassification, applications for the position, position establishment card and details of individuals who occupied the position and ultimately the abolition of the position.The words 'Abolished' or 'Position Abolished' were written on the cover of each file.
