Chromosome-level genome assembly and annotation of Champsocephalus gunnari.

<b>Genome assembly</b> The Oxford Nanopore long reads obtained from DNA sequencing were assembled using NextDenovo (v.2.4.0) (https://github.com/Nextomics/NextDenovo) and polished using NextPolish (v.1.3.1) with Illumina short reads generated from muscle tissue. After processing with Purge Haplotigs, haploid assembly were scaffolded using Hi-C.<b>Genome annotation</b> Protein-coding genes in the assembled genome were predicted using the BRAKER3 annotation pipeline (v.3.0.8) and The functional annotation of protein-coding gene was performed using EggNOG mapper (v2.1.12)
