Dataset and R script for: Global patterns of mining impacts on lotic macroinvertebrates and implications for freshwater conservation

This repository contains the datasets and R scripts supporting the analyses presented in the manuscript “Global patterns of mining impacts on lotic macroinvertebrates and implications for freshwater conservation”. The repository includes: Systematic review database containing bibliographic and study-level metadata for the peer-reviewed studies on mining impacts on lotic macroinvertebrate communities; Meta-analysis dataset including extracted quantitative response variables (mean, standard deviation, sample size, effect size structure, moderators, and study descriptors); R script used for scientometric analyses, multilevel meta-analysis models, heterogeneity tests, publication bias assessment, and figure generation; These files provide full reproducibility of the statistical workflow and support transparency and reuse for future freshwater biodiversity and mining impact assessments.
