Digital Data from an Archaeological Evaluation (Phase 2) at Didcot Road, Long Wittenham, Oxfordshire, 2021

This collection comprises images and GIS data from an archaeological evaluation by Cotswold Archaeology on land to the east of Didcot Road, and to the south of the village of Long Wittenham, Oxfordshire, in April 2021.
A total of nine trenches, c.30m long were machine-excavated over c.5ha of land, which were targeted upon cropmarks and geophysical anomalies recorded respectively in earlier aerial photographic surveys of this part of the River Thames gravels and geophysical surveys of the site itself.
