Seedlings and Saplings in the Clearcut Site at Harvard Forest 2010-2013

The aim of this dataset is to quantify the changes over time in woody seedling and sapling abundances and sizes at a site that was clearcut in the fall of 2008, followed by natural regeneration. It evidences successional changes in recruitment, survival, and associated self-thinning, and can be used to quantify accumulation of aboveground live biomass post-clearing with corresponding allometric relationships.本数据集旨在量化2008年秋季皆伐后经天然更新的样地内，木本幼苗与幼树的多度及个体大小随时间的变化。该数据集记录了种群补充、存活率及伴随自然稀疏过程中的演替变化，同时可结合相应异速生长关系（allometric relationships），量化皆伐后地上活体生物量的累积量。
