We performed laboratory experiments of jets with reversing buoyancy in a crossflow, using a mixture of EEG (Ethanol and Ethylene Glycol) injected in a tank filled with fresh water (experiments 1 to 27) or injecting fresh water in a tank filled with salty water (experiments I to VI).<br>Table S1 contains the initial conditions of the experiments, the calculated dimensionless numbers, and the main regime of the obtained jet (i.e., fountain or stable plume). <br><br>Figure S1 shows the evolution of the density of the mixture between EEG and water (in kg/m^3) as a function of the water content in the mixture (in wt%). This density evolution can be approximated by a quadratic equation (dashed line, equation 9 in Michaud-Dubuy et al.).
