Dataset for Manipulation Check of Customer Participation in the Pretest (N = 107)

A pretest (N = 107) was conducted to assess the effectiveness of the experimental manipulation. Participants were randomly assigned to the experimental conditions. The dataset included responses to manipulation check items measuring perceived customer participation on 7-point Likert scales. Independent samples t-tests indicated that participants in the high-level condition reported significantly higher perceived participation than those in the low-level condition, suggesting that the manipulation was successful.
