Thomisus sp. 1 FL-2024b Genome sequencing. Thomisus sp. 1 FL-2024b

This specimen looks similar to Thomisus nepenthiphilus, a pitcher dwelling spider from Singapore. We also found this specimen inside the pitcher of Nepenthes smilesii from Phu Kradueng National Park, Thailand. However, we cannot confirm that this specimen is T. nepenthiphilus due to this species has no COI, 18S, and H3a squence in GenBank. This is the second complete mitochondrion genome of Thomisus species acording to Thomisus onustus. Specal characterictis of this genome is that it has a trnY trnV, trnW, trnL1, and NADH2 transposition which is unlike to any pattern that was reported to any spiders that shows a rearrangement genome.
