FOCAL Population Survey Tool (English): A survey to determine the epidemiology of acute gastrointestinal illness in Ethiopia, Mozambique, Nigeria, and Tanzania

This file contains the FOCAL (Foodborne disease epidemiology, surveillance, and control in African LMIC) Population Survey Tool, that was developed in 2021-2022 to estimate the incidence and distribution of diarrhea in the community in rural and urban settings in Ethiopia, Mozambique, Nigeria, and Tanzania. This survey was created collaboratively, in English, by individuals from the University of Waterloo (Desta, Dodd, Majowicz), the Danish Technical University (Hald, Pires, Njage), Haramaya University (Gobena, Hailu), Eduardo Mondlane University (Macuamule, Salvador, Moiane), Mountain Top University (Fayemi, Ayolabi, Akanni), University of Lagos (Ayolabi), Kilimanjaro Clinical Research Institute (Mmbaga, Thomas), Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College (Mmbaga, Kumburu), University of Otago (Thomas), and the University of Florida (Colverson).
