Digital Archive from an Archaeological Evaluation at Comet Corner, Middleton-on-Sea, Bognor Regis, West Sussex, February 2024

This collection comprises images, site records, text, spreadsheets, and a database from an archaeological evaluation on the land at Comet Corner, Middleton-on-Sea, Bognor Regis, West Sussex. This work was undertaken by Ecus Ltd in February 2024. Eleven machine dug evaluation trenches were excavated across the site. These features could not be excavated due to the high water table and significant flooding of the trenches. Since the potential archaeological features could not be excavated, a mitigation strategy is recommended in order to fully obtain the nature, date, extent, survival, and significance of each potential archaeological feature observed in the results of the evaluation.
