资源简介:
Hybrid systems combining organic and inorganic linkers have a high flexibility which allows the engineering of their fundamental properties. The possibility of tailoring both the electric and magnetic properties by a proper choice of materials can give rise to novel phenomena. In the case of low dimensional hybrid systems, the combination of magnetism and electrical conductivity has a great potential for the development of new spintronic devices for information processing and storage.
In particular, metal-organic networks are promising candidates for the development of low dimensional devices due to versatility in coordinating different metallic materials and organic linkers in 2D structures. In this proposal we aim to further advance in the understanding of nanoscale hybrid systems investigating the magnetic properties of a 2D metallic metal-organic network consisting of N,N'-(anthracene-9,10-diylidene)dicyanamide molecules coordinated with Co atoms. We intend to investigate the magnetic anisotropy, magnetic remanence and probe the magnetic moments. The magnetic properties of the network will be measured by X-ray absorption (XAS), linear dichroism (XLD) and magnetic circular dichroism (XMCD).
