This package contains the datasets and R code used to quantify how bee body size predicts physiological responses to heat and drought, explicitly separating resistance from tolerance. Analyses integrate field measures of body temperature and body water content with laboratory measures of critical thermal maximum (CTmax) and critical water content (CWC) to estimate thermal and desiccation safety margins across >3,800 bees representing 34 genera collected from 63 sites in the continental United States.
