资源简介:
Stratigraphic analysis shows that the Pliocene facies have lithological and fossiliferous similarities. To the west, they start with yellow molassic sandstones, and to the east, with coarse sandstones or conglomerates, ending with limestones, Lumachelle, or conglomerates. The white conglomerate of the Oligocene-Miocene marks the base of the Pliocene, while pebbles, alluvial fans, reddish deposits, the appearance of echinoderm fossils from El Mhasseur, and the disappearance of Turritella aspera characterize the upper limit towards the Quaternary.
