资源简介:
This dataset contains data related to the article "Mapping Butterfly Species Richness and Abundance in Mountain Grasslands—Spatial Application of a Biodiversity Indicator" (https://doi.org/10.1111/ddi.70000). It contains a table with the following information for each survey site: coordinates, environmental variables, butterfly species richness and abundance. Another table contains information on the weighted means of the Landolt indicators for moisture and nutrients at the survey sites. These indicators were derived from field measurements at the sites. Both tables can be matched over the site names. The dataset also contains raster files (.tif) with predictions for butterfly species richness and abundance in the study region (Western Austria). (enet: predictions from models with elastic net regularization; step: predictions from models with step-wise variable selection)The environmental variables in the first table are:Altitude: altitude above sea levelD2n: Distance to Nature (an indicator from Rüdisser et al. 2012)Eco: density of the borders of forests and small woody features (ecotone) in km per km1 in the surrounding landscapeForest: proportion of forest in the surrounding landscapeGrass: proportion of grassland in the surrounding landscapeImper: proportion of imperviousness (sealed areas) in the surrounding landscapeNatura2000: weather or not a site is located in a Natura 2000 areaNorthness: exposition of a site, expressed as northnessSlope_per: Slope of a site in percentTjahr: mean yearly temperatureTjan: mean temperature in JanuaryTjul: mean temperature in JulyTprod: Mean total productivity of grassland habitatsMax_prod: mean maximum productivity of grassland habitatsNDMI: Normalized Difference Moisture index of grassland habitatsNDVI: Normalized Difference Vegetation Index of grassland habitatsSd_tprod: standard deviation of the total productivity of grassland habitatsSd_max_prod: standard deviation of the maximum productivity of grassland habitatsSd_NDMI: standard deviation of the NDMISd_NDVI: Standard deviation of the NDVIA radius in m is included in the variable name for variables that were calculated in different radii around the centre of a site.
