1986 Survey on Time Use and Leisure Activities: Survey Outline, Questionnaire, etc.

All households in Japan and individuals 15 years of age or older who permanently live in the household. However, the following are excluded:
(1) Members of the foreign diplomatic and consular corps, as well as military personnel (including family members, accompanying persons, and family members of accompanying persons)
(2) Self-Defense Forces personnel living in barracks or on vessels
(3) Persons in prisons, detention centers, youth detention centers, and women's reformatories
(4) Persons living in social welfare facilities
(5) Inpatients of hospitals or clinics
(6) Persons living on the water

日本所有家庭及其年满15周岁或以上且永久居住在该家庭的个人。然而，以下群体被排除在外：（1）外国外交和领事官员及其家庭成员、随行人员及随行人员的家庭成员；（2）居住在营房或舰艇上的自卫队人员；（3）身处监狱、拘留中心、少年教养中心和女子监狱的人员；（4）居住在社会福利设施中的人员；（5）医院或诊所的住院病人；（6）水上居住者。
