A national price survey of a single carnation resulted in an average price of 218 yen in October 2024. Over the period from January 2015 to October 2024 (a span of 118 months), the highest price for a single carnation in supermarkets across the nation was recorded in May 2024 at 241 yen, while the lowest price was observed in July 2017 at 170 yen. The price difference between the peak (May 2024) and trough (July 2017) periods for a single carnation in the national area was 71 yen.
