For each prisoner admitted surname only is given, and notes are made as to which of the following categories are applicable to his case: from courts, special attention, medical treatment, inebriates, from other gaols, admitted on recommendation of Visiting Surgeon, or Resident Medical Officer, nature of charge, of sound mind - discharged, to mental hospital, to police courts, to Reception House, Governor's pleasure. Statistics are noted as to the number of prisoners in each category, and totals are given at the end of each year. (3/14100). 1 vol.
