This function can be called in two ways:
1) Called with let_evolve==1, it calculates fitness for the resident strategy and classes*classes*2 mutant strategies, which differ from the resident strategy by delta in one parameter at a time (either higher or lower). It then creates an updated resident strategy in which each parameter has been changed in the direction of selection.
2) Called with let_evolve==0, it calculates mutant fitness of 10 levels per behavioural parameter for plotting, spanning the whole range of possible values.
