RNA Seqeuncing of Adult Tissue after Maternal Diet Manipulation

We report differnces to gene expression in the Dorsal Striatum, Ventral Striatum, Ventral Tegmental Area and Substantia Nigra in adult offspring as a consequence of Maternal HFD exposure during lactation. 5 control and 6 CH animals in each gender. Mice were rapidly decapitated. Substantia nigra (SN), ventral tegmental area (VTA), dorsal Striatum (CPu) and ventral striatum (NuAcc) were cut with brain matrix and collected and frozen on dry ice and and stored in -80 freezers. All the samples were subjected to an RNA extraction protocol (see details in protocol part) and RNA concentrations were measured by Qbit machine. Those samples were deep mRNA sequenced for further analysis.
